Primate Lodge,Kibale.

Located in the middle of Kibale Forest National Park, this eco-friendly safari lodge is the perfect gateway for tracking chimpanzees that inhabit this African rainforest.
The lodge is constructed with local materials and makes use of solar powered electricity in order to minimize the impact on the environment.

8 luxury safari tents are raised on a wooden platform and covered by a grass-thatched roof perfectly blending with the natural environment. Each room has a private veranda with a splendid view of the surrounding forest. The interior is well decorated in African style, with comfortable queen-sized beds, brightly coloured bedspreads and large windows to take in the forest. En suite bathrooms are finished with a natural touch of local stone, bamboo and wall paintings.
The 7 cottages have their own veranda and are equipped with large twin beds and a sitting area, nicely decorated with traditional African art and a fully equipped en suite bathroom with shower and flushing toilet.
The tree House comprises of a simple bedroom and basic washing facilities at the foot of the tree.
A well-maintained campsite with shared washing facilities is available for guests who wish to bring their own tent.
In the spacious dining room delicious meals, both international and traditional African dishes, are served with a smile.
Adjacent to the restaurant is a well-stocked bar where you can have a fresh cup of coffee or other drink.
An open lounge area is furnished with comfortable large chairs, sofas and soft cushions.
In the slightly chilly evenings you can find shelter in a unique fire cave, where a fire will be lit to warm yourself.
The main lodge and rooms are equipped with solar powered electricity. However, due to the environment, the solar system may not charge as expected. In this case kerosene lanterns are provided at the reception.
Cameras and mobiles can be charged at the main lodge.
