Mihingo Lodge.
Miningo Lodge is located in lake Mburo National Park which is a habitat for zebra, eland, and impala, who are not found in most other National Parks in Uganda . Also Lake Mburo has big numbers of waterbuck, topi, buffalo, hippo, duiker, bushbuck, klipspringer and if you are lucky you will see oribi, reedbuck, leopard and crocodiles.

The Lodge
10 rooms built on wooden platforms with stilts, covered by a thatched roof. Suspended under the thatched roof is a spacious and comfortable tent equipped with en-suite bathrooms with stunning views, including hot and cold running water, showers, and flush loos.
The main dining area is a large thatched structure built of rocks, the wood of dead weathered olive trees. Below the dining area, a swimming pool stretches out from the rocks.
Electricity, hot water, and water pumps are powered by solar energy and there is a natural water catchment system to take advantage of the rains.
Mihingo Lodge offers horse back safaris around the Lodge in the valleys towards Lake Kacheera.The rides are adjusted according to the riding skills of each group.
Rates per service
Full body massages are offered by the lodge, taking approximately 1 hour and costing 40,000 UGX.
Night Game Drive
Mihingo Lodge offers night game drives in a new open Land rover. You will be charged with (15 US$ per person payable to UWA, and if you use the open Land rover an additional 50 US$ (100,000 UGX) for the vehicle including driver and 5 US$ (10,000 UGX) per person.
There are some excellent tours towards Lake Kacheera for mountain biking outside Lake Mburo National Park. These go for 5 US$ (10,000 UGX) per person inclusive of the guide
Tennis
Mihingo Lodge has a clay tennis court. The balls and rackets are provided by the lodge. The court is about a 10 minute walk from the Lodge. (5 US$ (10,000 UGX)
The lodge offers the cultural walk for 1 hour that highlights the local Bahima culture. It goes for (5 US$ (10,000 UGX) per person towards the conservation and community projects we support)
